Vitality Blast 2026: Betting odds, team stats, key facts & live streaming guide

The 2026 Vitality Blast, also known as the T20 Blast, gets underway on May 22, with 18 county teams batting for England’s premier domestic T20 title, writes Sports News Blitz’s Himanshu Sharma.

The competition is divided into three groups, with each county playing 12 group-stage matches, six home and six away fixtures.

Group A: Derbyshire Falcons, Durham, Lancashire Lightning, Leicestershire Foxes, Notts Outlaws, Yorkshire.

Group B: Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire Steelbacks, Somerset, Warwickshire Bears, Worcestershire Rapids.

Group C: Essex, Kent Spitfires, Hampshire Hawks, Middlesex, Surrey, Sussex Sharks.

Each teams will face others in their group twice, alongside two cross-group fixtures. The top two sides from each group, plus the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.

The QF winners progress to Finals Day in a race for the T20 Blast title.

The betting markets are backing Surrey as the outright favourites to lift the trophy.

In the UK, Sky Sports Cricket will broadcast selected matches, including the quarter-finals and Finals Day.

The non-televised games will stream free on the ECB website and England Cricket app. 

Indian viewers can follow the action on FanCode and SonyLIV. 

Willow TV and Cricbuzz provide coverage in the USA and Canada, while Australia viewers can watch via Prime Video, Foxtel, or Kayo Sports. 

Several counties will also offer free YouTube streams for selected matches.
