Rugby league betting tips: Predictions and suggested bets for Super League Round 13

Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens provide top billing this week as the top two sides will battle it out for that top spot, Wakefield play Hull KR at home and much more.

Last week we saw Rhinos get back to winning ways, however St Helens fell to a shock defeat away at Castleford.

Here, Sports News Blitz writer Elliot Ward takes a look at upcoming fixtures, highlighting the best betting angles and offering some choice tips.

Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens

The Rhinos won last week 52-0 against the Huddersfield Giants at Headingley, a great win for them back on track and most importantly back at the top of the league.

St Helens fell to an embarrassing defeat away to the Castleford Tigers 30-12, this means they lose out on top spot ahead of their trip to Leeds.

Suggested bet: Brodie Croft anytime tryscorer at 21/10 (SpreadEX)

Warrington Wolves vs Hull FC

Warrington won last time out at home to strugglers Bradford Bulls 26-12 now placing them second joint top with league leaders Leeds Rhinos.

Hull FC have not played at their best this season and will hope to change that this week, however they face a very tough test which I don’t think they can conquer.

Suggested bet: first tryscorer Matty Ashton at 13/2 (betfred)

Bradford Bulls vs York Knights

Bradford lost last time out to Warrington, however not disgraced in this match up and will be confident to get over the line against their Yorkshire rivals.

York have had an up and down season getting important wins but also losing poorly which ultimately sees them sit in 12th place one place behind Bradford.

Suggested bet: York half time and Bradford winning at full time result at 13/2 (Betfred)

Castleford Tigers vs Leigh Leopards

Castleford have had some impressive results of late beating the likes of Wigan, Hull FC and St Helens last time out and will look to continue their form against the leopards.

Leigh had a rough start to the season but have picked up in the last few months moving them up to playoff contention in 7th place two points behind Wigan Warriors.

Suggested bet: Leigh Leopards winning margin of 15+ at 13/8 (Coral)

Huddersfield Giants vs Toulouse Olympique

Huddersfield have really struggled with the quality of the super league this season, they lost again last week this time in the hands of Leeds Rhinos 52-0 and sit bottom of the league.

Toulouse lost narrowly to a top five Wakefield Trinity side 22-18 last week, and sit 13th two points above bottom place Huddersfield.

Suggested bet: Toulouse to win at 12/5 (Paddypower)

Wakefield Trinity vs Hull KR

Wakefield have been on top form of late, this sees them sitting in 5th place only two points off leaders Leeds Rhinos and level with opponents Hull KR.

Hull KR started off slow however in recent months are looking like the side we saw that dominated in all competitions last season.

Suggested bet: Wakefield Trinity half time Hull KR full time result at 7/1 (Betfred)

Catalans Dragons vs Wigan Warriors

Catalans are a strange team. They win one week playing really well then lose another playing really badly, there does not seem to be much in between which I think will hinder them against the Warriors.

Wigan have been excellent this last month, last week beating Hull KR to lift the challenge cup at Wembley, they will want to carry on this form this week against the Dragons.

Suggested bet: Wigan winning margin of 15+ at 8/5 (Coral)
