NFL betting tips: Philadelphia to go from bad to worse, Los Angeles Chargers will continue playoff push

Betting against Philadelphia is starting to become a sure thing, and I am all in on profiting on the Birds’ car crash of a season.

We went two for three yet again last week, and here's hoping the hot streak can continue as the NFL continues to heat up.

This week, Sports News Blitz’s Sam Condy takes another look at Philly, heads to San Fran and reveals why he is backing the Chargers to trump the Chiefs for a second time this season.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Kansas City Chiefs

It’s crunch time for Kansas City. After failing to win against the Texans and the Eagles, facing another loss, this time to the Chargers, the Chiefs need a stroke of luck and a run of good performances if they want to make the postseason once again.

First up, they must beat the Chargers this week, who have thrown themselves into playoff contention with a string of well-earned victories.

Patrick Mahomes has been on a downer this year, and I don’t see him miraculously recovering to drag the Chiefs into the postseason.

I’m betting on the Chargers to keep the ballgame tight, and potentially even walk away on top this Sunday.

Suggested bet: Los Angeles Chargers (+4.5) @ 4/7 with Ladbrokes

Las Vegas Raiders vs Philadelphia Eagles

Last week, I said I was going to continue to back Philly’s downfall.

They have now lost three in a row, and look in a world of trouble, though hosting the Las Vegas Raiders provides the perfect opportunity to get back onto winning terms.

From a betting point of view, a win for Philly doesn’t matter here. Las Vegas are such mammoth underdogs that we just have to hope the Eagles can’t run up the score too high.

Given Jalen Hurts' poor form of late - completing just 64.7% of his passes per game - I’m predicting the Raiders to cover the spread this week.

Suggested bet: Las Vegas Raiders (+10.5) @ 4/9 with Boyle Sports

Tennessee Titans vs San Francisco 49ers

This is a riskier game to bet on. The 49ers are huge favourites, and with it comes an unusually large spread for them to cover if we are looking to get any value back on our stake.

However, they have shown that they are more than capable of winning big this season.

Each of San Fran’s last four wins has seen them win by at least ten, and Christian McCaffrey continues to show why he is so beloved in ‘The City by the Bay’.

The running back leads his outfit in rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdowns this season.

While he was locked down slightly by the Cleveland defence last week, the Titans have no such defensive prowess, and McCaffrey should find himself back to his destructive best come Sunday.

Suggested bet: San Francisco 49ers (-12.5) @ 10/11 with Bet365
