NFL betting tips: Denver Broncos to continue streak, Philadelphia Eagles to fall off the wagon in Chicago, and more
What is going on in Philadelphia? Seriously, the Birds blew what looked to be a sure thing last weekend, and will now be desperate to turn the tables back in their favour against a tough Chicago outfit on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos will be full of confidence as they play the Washington Commanders in the early hours of Monday morning, having not tasted defeat since a three-point loss to the Los Angeles Chargers way back in September.
Once again, Sports News Blitz’s Sam Condy picks out three of his favourite betting lines ahead of another week of regular-season gridiron action.
Chicago Bears vs Philadelphia Eagles
Philly will be hanging their head in shame after an embarrassing loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week.
They went 21-0 up, and I thought my bet was in the bag, but somehow, the Super Bowl champions forgot that they are professional American football players.
The wheels fell off in the second half, and the birds fell to a 24-21 defeat.
They will now be looking to bounce back against the Chicago Bears, who have won four in a row following a 31-28 triumph over Pittsburgh.
The spread for this game sits at seven points, and considering the Philadelphia Eagles have won by a full touchdown just once this season, the odds certainly aren’t swinging in their favour.
It’s hard to bet against Chicago at the moment, and for that reason, my heart is with Chicago this week.
Suggested bet: Chicago Bears (+7) @ 10/11 with Coral

San Francisco 49ers vs Cleveland Browns
Both sides enjoyed triumph in week 12, with the San Francisco 49ers now moving to 8-4 for the season, putting up a real fight in the NFC West.
At first glance, it looks like we could be in for an exciting game of football this Sunday; unfortunately, that may be too good to be true.
The Cleveland Browns have averaged just shy of 17 points a game this season, while boasting one of the while allowing just 22.2 points per contest - they are a prime example of ‘Haramball’ at its worst.
Meanwhile, the 49ers have faced similar offensive struggles, grinding out a win against the Panthers in what was an otherwise uninspiring performance from the San Fran outfit.
I’m predicting the worst this week: a low-scoring snoozefest in Cleveland.
Suggested bet: Total points (Under 39.5) @ 8/13 with Sporting Index

Denver Broncos vs Washington Commanders
Both teams have wildly different stories this season.
The Denver Broncos have almost secured a postseason ticket, currently sitting at 9-2, while the Washington Commanders have struggled to get their wheels off the ground.
Looking online, many are speculating over the Broncos' poorer performances on the road, and whether that might make a betting decision more complex this week.
However, I think it’s fairly simple. The Broncos have won eight games in a row, while the Commanders have gone six without a win. I don't think you need to read into it much more than that.
Suggested bet: Denver Broncos (-5.5) @ 10/11 with Coral
