Daniel Dubois predicts Tyson Fury victory and teases blockbuster future fight
Daniel Dubois believes Tyson Fury will beat Anthony Joshua in December and has hinted at a potential showdown with the winner as he continues his own heavyweight journey.
Fury and Joshua will finally settle their long-running rivalry when they meet in Cardiff on December 11, with Dubois expecting his fellow Briton to come out on top.
“I think Fury,” Dubois told Sky Sports News when asked who he expects to win.
“Everyone's been talking about this fight for such a long time. It'll be good to see them both get into the ring. Two legends of British boxing.”
Fury fight an enticing prospect
Dubois knows Joshua particularly well, having stopped him in the fifth round of their 2024 heavyweight clash.
A future meeting with Fury would therefore offer the Londoner another opportunity to face one of the biggest names in British boxing.
The prospect of that fight clearly appeals to Dubois, who believes promoter Frank Warren could have a major role to play in making it happen.
“What a fight that would be,” Dubois said.
“It’s like me and AJ all over again. That sort of magnitude. That’s what boxing’s about really. Frank [Warren, their promoter] would love it, he’s got both of us. I’ve got to come through my next fight and anything’s possible.”

Not looking past Wardley
However, Dubois was quick to stress that talk of Fury and Joshua is not distracting him from his immediate responsibilities.
The heavyweight is preparing to face Fabio Wardley again after their first meeting produced a dramatic battle in which Dubois recovered from two knockdowns before stopping his opponent.
“Let’s be real, I don’t even care about that fight,” Dubois said when asked about Fury versus Joshua.
“I’m not looking past Fabio at all. One fight at a time. I’m just dedicating myself 100 percent to this fight.”
Dubois added that Wardley remains a “true competitor” and “true warrior”, with his immediate focus on producing another memorable performance.
