Boxing news: Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr fight preview - Tale of the tape, tactics and prediction
Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr face off again on Saturday, November 15 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, seven months after Eubank claimed a unanimous decision victory in a 12-round thriller.
Sports News Blitz writer Taylor Stephenson breaks down the key storylines, from weight cuts to tactics - and predicts how the rematch might unfold.
Weight, clauses and lessons learned
The rematch will take place at middleweight (160 lbs), as it did in the first fight, and the rehydration clause remains in place.
The clause states that neither fighter can gain more than 10 lbs between the weigh-in and the morning of the bout.
Eubank missed weight by 0.05 lb last time, resulting in a £375,000 fine; however, he did adhere to the rehydration clause.
The weight Eubank cut for the first fight did seem to have an impact, as he didn't look his best but still did enough to secure the win.
There were times when Eubank appeared to take the weight cut lightly for the first fight, showing up eating KFC and enjoying lavish meals.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said that it “came back to bite him on the a**e.”
I'd expect him to take this weight cut much more seriously and make weight this time.
Benn has hinted that he will employ a different game plan this time around, saying he was too obsessed with trying to claim the knockout in their first clash.
So perhaps we won't see the brawl we did seven months ago, but rather a more strategic and cautious approach from Benn.

Tale of the tape
The reach and height advantage goes to Eubank as the taller man.
Eubank's usual fighting weight is middleweight, but Benn considers himself a welterweight, meaning he is moving up a weight class to face Eubank.
Eubank's experience definitely played a role in his victory, able to withstand Benn's early pressure, selecting his punches wisely and then dominating more as the fight progressed into the later rounds.
The first fight remains Benn's only loss on his record, but it's his lack of experience in big fights that puts him at a disadvantage against Eubank.
While Eubank has three losses, they came at the hands of George Groves in a world title fight, Billy Joe Saunders, and Liam Smith - a defeat he avenged in the rematch.
A tactical battle, not a brawl
I expect a tighter, more strategic contest this time around, and definitely a little bit more of a chess match than the meet-in-the-middle action we were treated to last time.
Eubank’s size and experience make him the slight favourite and very hard to look past.
That said, I think Benn will have learned some key lessons from the first fight and will be a much tougher opponent.
Will it be enough for him to avenge his loss? I think so.
Prediction: Benn to defeat Eubank Jr.
