ATP betting tips: Get with reborn Andrey Rublev to keep his cool and conquer Los Cabos
Sports News Blitz’s Bookie Basher is still running hot after napping Jannik Sinner at 2/1 to win Wimbledon.
Read on for a breakdown of the best bets from the ATP action this week from SNB’s punting maverick.
Sinner delivers, but women’s final falls flat
So, how was Wimbledon for you? Our headline tip, Jannik Sinner, did the business at 2/1 with an ice-cold performance in Sunday’s final against Carlos Alcaraz.
Let’s have it right, though, that Iga Swiatek vs Amanda Anisimova final on Saturday could have been an email.
A quieter week, but betting value remains
There is a more sedate feel to the ATP action this week with three 250 events. Two - in Gstaad and Bastad - are on clay, and there is hardcourt action in Los Cabos.
Russian headcase Andrey Rublev is set to make his Los Cabos debut as the top seed, and he looks heads and shoulders better than anyone else in the draw.

Rublev’s rage may finally be under control
Rublev - known for his on-court meltdowns and racquet self-harm - has introduced Marat Safin to his team this season to try and do something about the emotional outbursts that have been plaguing his career.
Safin smashed a total of 1,055 racquets during his own tennis career - according to Wikipedia - so hiring him to work on the mental side of your game is rather like HSBC hiring Ronnie Biggs to beef up their security.
All joking aside, Rublev has acknowledged that Safin's input has helped him with his mental health, and he looks a much calmer presence on the courts this season.
Rublev arrives at the event with a 21-15 season record, with his best result being an impressive title run at the ATP 500 in Doha.
The Russian with the wild eyes lost on four sets to Alcaraz at Wimbledon, and - while there is no shame in that - the bottom line is his game looks in great working order currently.
9/4 with Betfred looks a play, considering he is as short as 6/4 with some firms.
Bastad betting: Cerundolo out, Baez in?
In Bastad, Francisco Cerundolo is the betting favourite - but he was absolutely honking as he lost in the first round at Wimbledon - costing this writer a £366 acca, and so the Argie is a player I can happily swerve this week.
In truth, the Nordea Open looks wide open, and I don’t hate 16/1 about Sebastian Baez winning in Sweden.
OK - Baez is just 13-14 this season - but he loves the clay and has won this season on the red dirt already in Rio de Janeiro.
This tousled ball of Argentine mischief can really play when he is in the mood. He has a strong defence, impressive movement and limitless stamina, which are all handy traits on the unforgiving red clay.

Garin another value shout on the dirt
Another outsider at the Nordea Open who could be worth a few shekels as an each-way bet is Cristian Garin.
The Chilean seems to have been around forever but is only 29.
He had a rough time of it in the last year or so and is now ranked well outside the top 100 in the world. However, he is another player who comes alive on clay, and he has five ATP titles to his name.
Admittedly, he’s won nothing since winning in Santiago in 2021.
But all those tournament wins have been on clay, and with Messrs Alcaraz and Sinner having a well-earned rest this week, the title in Sweden is very much up for grabs.
An outsider at juicy odds lifting the trophy would be no surprise, so hopefully one of Baez or Garin can bring it home.
Suggested Bet #1: Andrey Rublev to win ATP Los Cabos at 9/4 (Betfred)
Suggested Bet #2: Sebastian Baez (each-way) to win the Nordea Open at 16/1 (Star Sports)
Suggested Bet #3: Cristian Garin (each-way) to win the Nordea Open at 16/1 (Betfred)
