Team captains and ticket details confirmed for padel’s first Clash of the Coaches
Clash of the Coaches – the first worldwide tournament for padel coaches – has announced ticket details and team captains for the inaugural event in London on Friday 7 August.
The tournament is an opportunity to witness more than 40 of the best UK and international coaches do battle in a mixed team format.
Early bird spectator tickets for the tournament, being held at London’s impressive Racketeer club, start at just £7 (plus booking fee) and include a drink from the venue’s Recover-Me station.
Spectators can cheer on their coach or region, with the competition featuring teams from across the country – each with a designated captain.
The event, created by World Padel Network founder Jamie Rowe and co-organised with Nico Benitez, is being hosted by Matt Mistri, better known as London Padel Coach, and Olivia Ciftci.
Clash of the Coaches has been created to bring together padel coaches from across the UK and Europe to compete, connect and celebrate their role in the sport.
More than a tournament, Clash of the Coaches has been created to recognise and raise the profile of the padel coaching community. Through a format designed to be competitive, inclusive and enjoyable.
It is being backed by a number of leading padel sector businesses including Raquex, PlaySight, Pulco, Padeltots and Sweetspot Communications.
Organiser Rowe said: “The response from the coaching and wider padel community has been incredible. We have eight teams confirmed, each with six coaches.
“For many of the coaches, it will be a long day with travel and competition, especially for the International Team. The fact so many are willing to make the trip means a great deal.
“A special thanks to our Official Partners Pulco, RAQUEX, PlaySight, and Padeltots for their support.”
