The new rounders season is up and running, and we have invited the co captains from the Horsforth Hawks Reds team to write a report for sponsors Sports News Blitz.

The team are navigating their way through a new division following promotion last season.

MATCH REPORT 🔴🦅

Horsforth Hawks Reds beat Drighlington Dragon Flares 21.5 – 9.5 💪

The team were strong in both innings - edging the first 8–5.5 before pulling away in the second with 13.5 to DDF’s 4. 

Liz’s bowling caused havoc, leading to great triangle work and key outs, while big catches from Sam, Liz and Steph R and sharp throws from Rhiannon and Sam kept DDF’s scoring down.

With the bat, Beth K top scored with 4.5, Steph R on 3.5, and Liz, Amy and Rhiannon all contributed 2.5 each.
