Punter’s prophetic 12-month bet lands them £22k
One William Hill punter landed a spectacular £22,000-winning 10-fold wager, which extended over nearly 12 months and included bets on horse racing, darts and football, after Arsenal secured a top four finish in the Premier League at the weekend.
The winning run began on the 3rd of June last year, the day the bet was placed, with Bowman (8/13) placing at Ayr, Noisy Music (13/8) winning at Windsor and Apeeling (11/4) hitting the frame later on the same Windsor card.
That was followed by England (3/10) beating Bosnia in a friendly that same evening, and over 10 days later Germany (1/4) defeating Scotland in the opening contest of Euro 2024.
With five legs of their acca completed, the punter then had to wait until the first few days of 2025 and Luke Litter’s (3/1) success at the PDC World Darts Championship.
The last month saw their bet completed by Burnley (2/1) and Birmingham (10/11) securing promotion, Chesterfield (4/5) scraping into the top seven in League Two before Arsenal (1/6) claimed a top four spot in the Premier League to complete the set.
The 10 correct selections returned £22,082 from a £20 stake.

Both the duration of the bet and range of sports included makes this £20 10-fold an extraordinary wager and we have to tip our hat to this punter after they landed a cool £22k.
“There must have been times of concern, with Apeeling all out to repel two challengers at Windsor and Chesterfield needing to win on the final day of the League 2 season to secure seventh place, but the last few week’s must have been more relaxed, with Arsenal’s place in the top four all but secured.”
