NFL betting tips: Rams to face Patriots at Super Bowl LX as Broncos, Seahawks fall short in play-offs

In just a few days, we will have our 2026 Super Bowl contenders as only four teams remain in the play-offs.

Last year's big-hitters headed home early and for the first time since 2011, we have four new teams gracing conference championship weekend – all vying for a shot at Super Bowl glory.

The Seattle Seahawks host the NFC championship game against the Los Angeles Rams following a demolition job against the San Francisco 49ers.

Over in the AFC, the Denver Broncos welcome the New England Patriots.

Here, Sports News Blitz’s Sam Condy predicts the high-stakes match-ups and outlines his favourite betting angles.

New England Patriots vs Denver Broncos

Kicking off the conference championship action, the Patriots and the Broncos go head-to-head to crown this season’s AFC champion.

Don’t expect a firefest in this one as both sides sport near impenetrable defences – and while they aren’t offensively incapable, this will be a game that’s decided by off-the-ball prowess.

Through their previous two play-off games, New England have sacked quarterbacks C.J. Stroud and Justin Herbert a combined nine times.

And with Bo Nix out due to injury, the Broncos will have to rely on NFL veteran Jarrett Stidham, who has not thrown a pass in the NFL in over two years.

I’ve got a feeling the 29-year-old will come out rusty, with the Patriots able to run up several sacks and ultimately will their way to Super Bowl LX.

Prediction: New England Patriots

Suggested bet: Christian Barmore and Milton Williams both to record 1+ sack @ 6.99/1 with Sky Bet

Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks

Rounding out the NFC, we have a rivalry game on the cards this Sunday.

Matthew Stafford will be looking to clinch his second NFC championship since joining Los Angeles in 2021, while the Seahawks are aiming to book their ticket to a Super Bowl for the first time since 2014.

These two have already faced off twice this season, currently sitting on one win apiece.

Both games were hair-splittingly close, but with the Super Bowl on the line, I’ve got a feeling we could be in for a firefest in Seattle on Sunday night.

Since leaving Minnesota, Sam Darnold has continued a fine run of form, although interceptions have plagued his season and he has struggled most when faced against the Rams.

In week 11, he threw for four interceptions without a single touchdown, and two of his three multiple-interception games have come against the Rams.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Darnold will strike gold with the long-ball, but it will be a mixed bag – and ultimately, his mistakes could prove costly.

I’m predicting a high-scoring game on Sunday, one where the Rams’ defence will prove pivotal in upsetting Darnold’s rhythm and helping Los Angeles to yet another Super Bowl final.

Prediction: Los Angeles Rams

Suggested bet: Sam Darnold (2+ interceptions) @ 11/4 with Sky Bet
