NFL 2026: September fixtures and start times as Los Angeles Rams tipped for Super Bowl LXI glory
The NFL is back – and bookmakers are backing the Los Angeles Rams to go all the way and win Super Bowl LXI.
The road to glory begins in the early hours of Thursday morning UK time with a mouth-watering repeat of last season’s Super Bowl as reigning champions the Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots.
Seattle begin their title defence looking to remind the rest of the NFL why they are champions after producing a sensational defensive performance to beat New England 29-13 and claim their second Super Bowl crown last season.
But while the Seahawks have the trophy, the bookmakers have the Rams at the front of the queue for the next one.
They are priced at 11/2 by Sky Bet to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy at SoFi Stadium, where Super Bowl LXI will be played on Sunday, February 14.
The Rams’ pursuit of a home Super Bowl gives them an intriguing storyline from the very start of the campaign, with the Buffalo Bills next in the betting at 10/1.
Burrow’s Bengals an outside shot
The Seahawks are 12/1 to become the first team since the 2004-05 New England Patriots to win back-to-back Super Bowls, while the Patriots themselves are rated at 18/1.
Kansas City Chiefs are available at 16/1, with Patrick Mahomes looking to mount another title challenge, and Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals are priced at 20/1 as an outsider for glory.
Before anyone can start dreaming of February, however, there is the small matter of navigating the opening weeks of the regular season.
And there is plenty to get excited about.
From the Super Bowl LX rematch in Seattle to the first NFL regular-season game in Australia and a blockbuster Baltimore Ravens–Dallas Cowboys clash in Rio de Janeiro, September promises a fast start to the 2026 campaign.
