With the conclusion of the FIA Formula 3 post-season tests in both Jerez and Barcelona over the past two weeks, Lando Norris’s LN4 Fusion team has proven to have the pace to be a top runner in the upcoming 2027 season.
LN4 Fusion have recently announced they have been accepted into entry for FIA Formula 2 in the 2027 season, alongside their already established entry into the FRECA Championship and both Italian and German Formula 4.
Here, Sports News Blitz writer Leia Cornall takes a closer look at the three drivers who will represent LN4 Fusion in their debut F3 season.
Who are LN4 Fusion’s three F3 drivers?
The team, co-founded by McLaren Formula One driver and 2025 World Champion Lando Norris, recently signed their three drivers for the F3 2027 season - James Egozi, Gabriel Gomez, and Dion Gowda.
All three drivers have a previous history in other junior racing series and have success in these categories.
James Egozi, an 18-year-old American racing driver, is a former member of the Red Bull Racing junior team, which has successfully integrated many drivers (such as Isack Hadjar and Arvid Lindblad in recent years) into F1.
Egozi has raced in Eurocup-3 during the most recent 2025/2026 season, racing for Palou Motorsport and winning at Portugal's Portimao race.
Gabriel Gomez has just come off a season high, winning the 2025 Formula Winter Series and becoming champion.
The 20-year-old Brazilian driver has been racing for Rodin Motorsport in Formula Regional, finishing 14th overall before announcing his move up to F3 in 2027.
18-year-old British-Indian racing driver Dion Gowda has raced in both British F4 and Formula Regional. Racing with Van Amersfoort Racing in Formula Regional in 2025, he finished 12th.
Gowda previously raced for Prema in British F4, podiuming twice. Prema Racing is known for their high success rate in junior championships, as nine current F1 drivers used to race within the team, including recently crowned 2026 F1 Champion Kimi Antonelli.

How did LN4 Fusion perform in F3 post-season testing?
All three drivers debuted with LN4 Fusion at F3 post-season testing, with the highest finisher for Jerez being James Egozi in P6.
During the Barcelona test, Egozi finished third, with teammate Gowda finishing ahead in second.
The 2027 Formula 3 season officially begins racing in March at the Bahrain circuit, with pre-season testing taking place in February.
LN4 Fusion’s future plans
LN4 Fusion team principal Rene Rosin looks forward to the upcoming season, and has stated he is focused on creating the right environment to succeed in the junior racing categories.
The team also works with Norris’ personal legacy programme to provide mental and financial support for all their drivers, with the aim of providing the next generation of drivers with the skills to make their way to a seat in F1.
LN4 Fusion has yet to announce any drivers for their F2 season, as well as any drivers for their respective Italian and German F4 teams.
