Day three of the Cheltenham Festival has quickly rolled around and after a thrilling last couple of days, all focus turns now to St Patrick’s Thursday.

Sports News Blitz’s Jeff Mexico and Kieran McHugh are back for round three of the Cheltenham Festival on Thursday, March 12.

It was anything but Final Orders for Mr Mexico, taking the cross-country race at a cool price of 7/1.

Jeff will be hoping to land the showpiece event, the Ryanair Chase – especially seeing as he is flying at the moment.

Despite being on different sides of the ‘roses border,’ there was no weighing room bust-up between our duo.

With another victory, Jeff has upgraded his six bottles of port to be now poured from a decanter, courtesy of a concierge.

We are not sure whether this is on top of cornflakes or sausage rolls.

As for Mr McHugh, after some torrid luck, he stole some bread off the nearby gaggle of ducks for his breakfast.

Anyhow, he has since sold his hearing aids to scrape together enough to stay another day.

So, yet again, we have asked M&M to provide us with two selections for each televised race.

One ‘Win’ selection and another ‘Each-way’ tip for every race.

As always, the first race is due off at 1:20 but that is more likely to be 1:30 after the starter holds them for another ten minutes.

The final race will start at 4:40 (hopefully) and culminate just in time for The Chase, a show in which you still cannot escape a man with the surname Walsh.
