After a thrilling and dramatic Cheltenham Festival, the fourth and final day is upon us with all eyes on the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Sports News Blitz’s Jeff Mexico and Kieran McHugh seem to have saved their best until the end, and after a successful Thursday, they return for the finale on Friday, March 13.

Our dynamic duo have scored winners every day so far.

Who needs so-called professional tipsters, who will tell you that the ‘Super Boost’ cannot be beaten, when you have two gentlemen with a gut feeling that is not stomach acid?

Home By The Lee was cheered home by Mr McHugh, taking the Stayers’ Hurdle at the nice price of 33/1.

This means, alongside Mr Mexico’s successes, the dynamic duo shall be dining out - figuratively and literally.

Jeff was quite incensed to find that his six bottles of port had gone amiss, with suspects including the Cheltenham starters.

Thankfully, he was able to replenish his stockpile.

Friday, March 13, is ‘National Good Samaritan Day,’ and resident peacemaker Davy Russell deserves his plaudits, having already celebrated the occasion.

Meanwhile, Kieran had bought back his hearing aids and splurged the rest of his winnings on a pint of Guinness, praising the 30p drop on last year’s price.

For one last time, we have asked M&M to bestow upon us two selections for each televised race - one “Win’ and one “Each-way.’

Hopefully, they get them in before they lose themselves.

Racing gets underway at 1:20pm, but let’s face it, the banker of the meeting is that the start (in the marvellous words of Kim Bailey) will be a cock-up.

ITV’s final race is on air at 4:40pm, before they shoot off to welcome Bradley Walsh and The Chase.

A show that features Darragh ‘The Menace’...

No, Nico has not labelled Darragh O'Keefe after he beat Jonbon in the Ryanair.

Rather, Darragh Ennis, the chaser, who perhaps ought to sit in the BHA review on the race starts and bring some common sense.
