WNBA news: BetMGM signs first women’s sports partnership deal with the Las Vegas Aces
BetMGM has become the exclusive online casino and sportsbook partner of the Las Vegas Aces, marking the corporation’s first partnership with a women’s sports franchise.
BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, along with the Las Vegas Aces made the announcement on Tuesday, with executives from both organisations gathering at the Bellagio, Las Vegas, to celebrate the milestone in women’s sports.
The partnership runs through the 2027 season, with key features including prominent signage at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and sponsorship across the Aces’ social media platforms, writes Sports News Blitz’s Shameeka Voyiya.
VIP seating
Additional components of the partnership include courtside access to pre-game shootarounds and luxury VIP seating for the Las Vegas Aces players.
As part of the agreement, BetMGM will also serve as an authorised gaming partner of the WNBA, receiving access to commercial inventory during nationally televised games and co-branded content across platforms.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said: “As we enter this era of tremendous growth in women's sports, BetMGM could not have two better organizations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces.
“Not only do the Aces play in our backyard at Mandalay Bay, but they share our commitment to giving back to the community."

Steals for Meals
Under the “BetMGM Steals for Meals” programme, BetMGM will donate $50 to The Just One Project, a food security nonprofit, for every home-game steal made by the Aces during the 2025 season.
Commenting on the community-based aspect of the partnership, Aces President Nikki Fargas said: “That sends volumes about who they are, but more importantly, the impact.
“I can't say enough about the impact and the work that we're going to be able to do together in this space to help this community be better.”
The partnership happens at a critical time as betting on the WNBA has increased exponentially, and BetMGM has reported a 133 percent growth year-over-year during the 2024 season.
This surge represents a strategic opportunity for the betting corporation to capitalise on the growing interest in women’s sports.
"On the heels of an incredible 2024 season when WNBA delivered significant growth in all areas of fan engagement, and with so much excitement surrounding the 2025 season, we want to continue to lean into betting and finding new and innovative ways to engage with our fans and provide the experiences they want," said WNBA Chief Growth Officer Colie Edison.
The WNBA recorded its highest total attendance in 22 years during the 2024 season, with 2,353,735 fans, up 48 percent from the previous year.
