Harry Bentley landed the biggest prize of his Hong Kong career to date as Tomodachi Kokoroe sensationally catapulted himself into LONGINES Hong Kong International Races reckoning after running the second-fastest 1200 metre time in Hong Kong racing history in the HK$5.35 million (approx. £500,000) G2 Premier Bowl Handicap (6f/1200m) at Sha Tin on Sunday 26 October.

Trainer David Hayes said no stone has been left unturned in the preparation of stable star Ka Ying Rising ahead of a trip to Australia to tackle the world’s richest turf race, The Everest, which will be a World Pool event for the third successive year.
In his final workout on the grass of Sha Tin before leaving Hong Kong, the world’s top-rated sprinter clocked 56.9s over 800m – completing the final 400m in 23.6s – in a showing that his Australian handler called “a good piece of work”.
