Padel news: From Marbella and Sotogrande to Dubai, here are the world’s most stunning padel courts
There are over 70,000 padel courts in the world today – some are basic, some are luxurious, and some are simply breathtaking.
Despite padel only becoming popular a few short years ago, investment into courts has skyrocketed over the course of 2025.
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and LTA Tennis Foundation have been the primary investors in the United Kingdom, investing over £6 million into padel, while money continues to pour into the sport on a global level too.
Here, Sports News Blitz writer Vanely Barumire lists the four most aesthetically pleasing padel courts in the world.
From humble beginnings
Made entirely of concrete walls and wire-mesh fences at the holiday home of Enrique Corcuera, the first padel court was not a sight for sore eyes.
However, despite it not being the most luxurious in comparison to more modern iterations, that first padel court remains a precious symbol as it established the game.
Built in Acapulco, the court has sadly been demolished, but its impact lives on.
Culture meets sport
Padel cannot be mentioned without first talking about Spain.
The sport is dominated by players from the Iberian nation or at least those who train under its sun.
Played by approximately six million people in Spain, padel is the country’s second-most popular sporting pastime behind only football.
It then comes as no surprise that some of the best courts are found in the region.
