NFL betting tips: Buffalo Bills to stomp Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears struggling with injury blows and more

I might have been too quick to jump on the J.J. McCarthy train last week.

Truth is, he looks incredibly unpolished, and was far from NFL standards as the Vikings suffered a 22-6 battering at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons.

Elsewhere, the Kansas City Chiefs have continued to struggle, losing once again against the Philadelphia Eagles, as they leave little for their Texan supporters to get excited over.

Here, Sports News Blitz’s Sam Condy breaks down his favourite picks ahead of gameweek three in the NFL.

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills

The Dolphins have struggled immensely through this season's opening two. Despite some fantastic Tagavaloia throw attempts, the Dolphins have yet to come out of first gear, and their offence looks weak and weary.

The Bills, on the other hand, are shaping up to be one of the teams to beat this season.

They thrashed the New York Jets on the road and will be hoping to continue their fearsome early-season form.

It's hard to bet against the Bills this week, and with Miami looking so shaky with the ball in hand, the Buffalo outfit has a real chance to run up the score at home.

Suggested bet: Buffalo Bills (-10.5) @  29/20 with Coral

Dallas Cowboys vs Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have been plagued by injury through the opening two games, and it doesn't look like it's going to get better any time soon.

Defensive back Kyler Gordon remains out with a hamstring issue, while Cornerback Jaylon Johnson is out indefinitely after managing only a quarter of last week's game before retiring due to groin troubles.

The problems don't end there, with first team regular Josh Blackwell also sidelined due to injury.

The Lions punished this weakness last week, and I’d expect the Cowboys to do the same. The Chicago outfit is fielding a secondary defensive lineup, and it’s far from the standard they need to compete.

Suggested Bet: Dallas Cowboys (-3) @ 13/10 with Ladbrokes

Cincinnati Bengals vs Minnesota Vikings

Another team struggling with injuries, the Minnesota Vikings will be without ‘hit or miss’ QB J.J. McCarthy as he is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Carson Wentz will fill in, but he doesn’t have the mobility of his compatriot and their rush defence has been an Achilles heel for the Minnesota outfit so far this season.

Still, people are rightfully hesitant to back the Bengals following Joe Burrow’s injury, but Jake Browning went 4-3 for them last season, and perhaps isn’t the step-down many think he is.

Overall, even without Burrow stepping onto the field, the Bengals should still have too much firepower for their stuttering Minnesota counterparts.

Cincinnati Bengals (-1.5) @ 13/10 with Paddy Power
