Midnite pays out £9k to Southampton, Middlesbrough and Wolves fans thanks to ‘2UP’ initiative
Southampton, Middlesbrough, and Wolves fans have won a combined total of £9,000 thanks to Midnite’s ‘2UP’ initiative.
Midnite is the principal partner of Wolves, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield United, while being the official training-kit partner of Southampton for the 2026/27 season.
The UK bookmaker’s ‘2UP’ initiative gives fans the chance to win big if those four clubs take a two-goal lead in a home league game.
One thousand pounds is also added to the prize pot after each home league match.
So far this season, thanks to Southampton taking a two-goal lead four times, Boro twice, and Wolves doing it once, seven fans have won a combined total of £9,000.
Home comforts
Saints fans Mel Linter, Dean Brown, Sue Curtis, and Jayden Frankling have all won £1,000 each thanks to Tonda Eckert’s side taking a two-goal lead in every home league game this season.
Meanwhile, Boro fan Jane Edmends won £2,000 thanks to a 3-1 win over West Brom last month, while Kieran Addison became £1,000 richer as Kim Hellberg’s side beat Norwich 4-3 in the last-minute.
Wolves have had one winner so far, with Ashley Richards winning £2,000 thanks to a 4-1 victory over Stoke last month.
The ‘2UP’ prize pot for Southampton and Middlesbrough currently stands at £2,000, with free-scoring Southampton at £1,000.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United’s ‘2UP’ prize pot stands at £14,000 ahead of their home league match.

Brace yourself
Midnite ran a similar campaign at Bramall Lane last season called ‘Brace Yourself’ where one fan would win money if a Blades player scored twice in a home league game.
As a result of no ‘Brace Yourself’ winner for Sheffield United, Midnite started the 2026/27 ‘2UP’ prize pot at a huge £10,000, with £1,000 rolling over after every home league match.
Andrew Mook, Midnite’s head of brand marketing, said: “We have seen some brilliant moments for our partner clubs in the early stages of the season, and we’re delighted that ‘2UP’ has allowed fans to share in that success.
“Seven supporters have already won a combined £9,000 simply by seeing their team take a two-goal lead in a Championship home match, which is exactly what the initiative is all about – adding even more excitement to a matchday and giving back to the fans.
“With the prize pot growing after every home league game, there are plenty more opportunities to win big throughout the season.
“We’re showing club sponsorship by Midnite is built different.”
